School Uniform Requirements

Here at Chiltern Wood, we understand how difficult it can be for parents to find appropriate school wear for their children. Many of our pupils have sensory, physical or accessibility needs which prohibit them from wearing formal uniform. As well as this, we understand that formal uniform can be costly in the current cost-of-living crisis. As such, we recommend the following items that can be purchased from any retailer: 

School Uniform

Trousers/shorts/jogging bottoms – grey or black

Skirt/pinafore – grey or navy with grey or navy tights

White school polo shirt

Navy blue school sweatshirt or cardigan

Summer option – blue gingham dress (with shorts or leggings if appropriate)

PE Kit

Navy blue t-shirt

Black shorts / jogging bottoms

Plimsolls / trainers

Pupils at Chiltern Wood School also take part in forest school and swimming for one full term annually. Weather dependent, the pupils may also need: welly boots, water proofs, thermals, hat, scarf & gloves, sun hat, towel, swimming costume, swim nappies. Please speak directly to your child's class teacher for more details.
